We have many memories of cooking hundreds—hundreds!—of these in the kitchen with our Grandma Campos before each of our siblings’ weddings. Later, after embarking on our journey to health, these were one of the first sweets we recreated in a grain free and dairy free version, so we could continue to make—and bake—the beautiful memories that accompany these delicious cookies. Our Abuela Approved Grain Free Mexican Wedding Cookies are made from a blend of almond flour, pecans, powdered sugar, and cinnamon for all to enjoy. Sounds pretty dreamy, right? (OOP! Siete is a Mexican-American food brand, rooted in family, that makes delicious grain free products. Siete is a family-owned business based in Austin, TX but the Garza family is from Laredo, TX. We think of it this way: Siete was born in the Garza’s family kitchen in Laredo, but grew up in the capital of Texas, Austin.
