Lady Babka is a woman-owned bakery, offering handmade, all natural, pillowy and decadent babkas, made locally in Austin, TX with love and care. Developed after searching for a connection to home while living in Israel, Sariel Brummer perfected her family's babka recipe, but with her own twist. The semi-sweet, soft and moist brioche breads are swirled with unique flavors, such as butter pecan and Nutella tahini. Rich and melt-in-your mouth, the babkas pair perfectly with tea or coffee, and sure to bring a bit of joy as a taste of nostalgia or new favorite treat.
Ingredients: enriched wheat flour (niacin, reduced iron, thiamine, mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid, malted barley flour), butter (cream, natural flavor), whole milk (milk, vitamin d3), granulated sugar, egg, water, cocoa powder, dark chocolate callets (unsweetened chocolate; sugar; cocoa butter; soy lecithin; natural vanilla flavor), cornstarch, yeast, salt, Shelf life is 28 days thawed & sealed at room temp.
Keep this bread in the bag in came in to prevent moisture from building up. Room temperature is best; never store your bread in the fridge.If you plan on storing your loaf (or half of it) in the freezer for longer life, keep it in a freezer-safe plastic bag with as much air pushed out as possible. When removing the bread from the freezer, allow it to thaw on the counter for 20 minutes and follow reheating instructions.
